Welcome back, join me and my continuing conversation about my thoughts, feelings, and emotions to the world around me.

In this episode, I’m out in between the seconds of a beautiful sunny morning, getting triggered by the reminiscence of summer. A warm breeze, the smell of freshly cut grass, and a scent of the salt ocean. And, as always, I throw in a poem, no wait…two poems for good measure.

forest sounds could be heard
trees whispering
brooks babbling on
birds fight for a sleeping spot

edge of the ocean
salt starts a craving for sea
comes to me in waves

The Creature

the creature lurks when light flickers to dark
growling in the void
slashing at reality
dwelling in crevasses, damp, dirty, and soaked
drenched in bad, covered in wrong
broken and abandoned
