“I was a little excited but mostly blorft. “Blorft” is an adjective I just made up that means ‘Completely overwhelmed but proceeding as if everything is fine and reacting to the stress with the torpor of a possum.’ I have been blorft every day for the past seven years.”
― Tina Fey, Bossypants
That was heavy. But I know what you mean…Sometimes I think we are too strong for our own good. Not everyone would be able to blorft along.

Thanks friend. Got to love a left-field crisis. Is it Friday yet?? Thanks for the read.

When it rains it pours, huh?
That’s why I’m an avid advocate for taking care of issues as they arise and not postponing it. But I know that sometimes you don’t even get the chance to react before the next thing hits.
I’m taking tomorrow off, so it might as well be Friday for me. Can’t you do the same?

I wish, but thanks for the pat on the back. Helps. Turns out the blow was not as hard. Still sung, but I’ll get through it. 🙂

Always prepare for the worst! But it’s a nice surprise when the bad is not terrible.
