You know how I’m always promoting Newfoundland and Labrador in some way, shape, or form, right? Well, I just thought why not share more given it is St. Patty’s Day. It’s a big deal around here, so allow me to showcase some traditional Newfoundland and Labrador music for you. A taste of the music that’s likely being played in every local pub and bar around the island on a day like today. There is no scarcity of people singing at the top of their lungs, playing traditional instruments including the ugly stick(*see below), getting three sheets to the wind and toasting each other with a few too many green beers.
