Bike Writer # 43 – It’s Not About Always Being the Best, It’s About Always Being You!

Use what talents you possess: the woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang best. – Henry van Dyke

  1. Exactly Ash! It always amazes me when I’m talking with someone I know who has often displayed super fantastic talent (s), but would rather instead struggle doing something else (possibly something others think they should be doing instead). Some claim to want to challenge themselves, but I feel they are simply not confident enough to believe that what they already are good at is not good enough to impress (if this is even necessary), anybody other than themselves. Yikes!!!

      1. I was very happy to find you again after a few scrolls. Here’s hoping you are doing well in respects to your mind, body, and spirit. It’s a very fascinating time. Maybe even a little confusing. Par for the course, and it is exactly that (to me) a course with a learning curve & all.

We are alive, and to me that makes us blessed. We still have choices. No one can take our power unless we choose to relinquish it. Super duper! 🎈

      2. Very wise words, Jen. And you’re right again, we are alive and that’s truly a blessing. I appreciate it every time you take the time to comment. Always a pleasure to hear your perspective and I’m happy you’re doing OK.

    1. Wow, this is awesome! And, yes I will definitely take part. Thank you so much for the nomination and stay tuned for my response. BTW, never doubt yourself, I stopped caring what people think and just let what inside of me out, no matter what!!! Happy writing.
