Pain of the mind was worse than pain of the body. My mother had just visited, she has MS and even though she had a wonderful progress report, she still lets the decease win. That’s what I was upset about. She lets her mind win over her body. That’s what I got from the quote.
I felt like this about my Mom, too. It’s heartbreaking. But then I realized that she just couldn’t take it anymore. She had no relief. She was a fighter, but it was too much for her at times.
Wisdom. But not easy to obtain.

Indeed. It’s a lot better than that one I had the other day, by the way, I took that quote completely out of context. Lol

I see. I’m sorry to hear about her struggles and your associated pain.
Our interpretations can definitely be clouded by our experiences.

Yeah, she’s still very young and it kills me to hear her so defeated sometimes. I try my best to remind her of how strong she really is.

Sorry to hear. One day at a time I guess. Have a good rest of the day.
