      2. Pain of the mind was worse than pain of the body. My mother had just visited, she has MS and even though she had a wonderful progress report, she still lets the decease win. That’s what I was upset about. She lets her mind win over her body. That’s what I got from the quote.

      5. I felt like this about my Mom, too. It’s heartbreaking. But then I realized that she just couldn’t take it anymore. She had no relief. She was a fighter, but it was too much for her at times.
