They say absence makes the love grow fonder. Well, maybe in short, limited cases. Most of the time, emotions do tend to fade and blur as time passes. That’s why they say time is the best medicine. Sometimes I think of my grief. It’s “less” than it used to be. It makes me feel like I’m a bad person for forgetting. But the image just blurrs and I can’t do much.
I understand your quote is about something else, but the same rules seem to apply.

Thank you for this. I totally get your take on this. For me, as you may assume is about my daughter. Almost 5 years now. It’s getting harder to live on with my life.
